In Accordance With the Texas Administrative Code TITLE 30, PART 1, CHAPTER 328, SUBCHAPTER I, RULE 328.137 ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY TEXAS COMMISSION ON ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY WASTE MINIMIZATION AND RECYCLING COMPUTER EQUIPMENT RECYCLING PROGRAM
Manufacturer Responsibilities.
The Computer Link now provides a recycling program for old computers and peripherals. Items that The Computer Link will recycle are items that are computer related equipment such as:
Computers (Work stations and Servers)
Monitors (CRT and LCD)
PC Speakers
Keyboards
Mouse
Printers
Scanners
Routers
Switches
Ethernet Cable
The Computer Link will receive any
Computer Link brand system along with any other brand of computer system
(Dell, HP, Compaq, etc...) to resell, donate or recycle the equipment in accordance
with the law.

At The Computer Link if a computer is no more than five years old and is still in good condition, it can be resold or donated. Computers beyond their useful life can be refurbished, upgraded, disassembled, and sold for parts, or recycled to recover their constituent materials. We have teamed up with one of our in-state vendors that will properly recycle the equipment.
***NOTE***
It is also in the new law that we will not be held liable for any personal information that maybe left behind on your hard drives. The Computer Link will not scan and clean every system turned in. Your information is your responsibility, so you must decide
whether or not to keep your hard drive in your possession.
