Computer Link has been established for over 10 years.
Serving the community, residents and businesses is what
TCL is all about. In 2003, Patrick Murphy was hired
on as a technician and purchased the company on January
1, 2006.
Most
of you already know Pat. He retired from the United
States Air Force in 2002 with an Associates Science
Degree in Electronic Systems from the Community College
of the Air Force. After retiring, he immediately went
to finish his degree at Texas Lutheran University. With
several years of radio, computer, intelligence and high-clearance
security work in the Air Force, getting his degree in
a field of computers made sense. In 2005, Pat graduated
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information
Systems. Murf, as some call him, was unsure of where
to go next. He loved repairing and networking computers
enough to stay working for TCL and a few months later
was looking to buy it. As the new owner, Pat is more
involved with the computers than he ever has been and
is loving every minute of what he does.
"I
love the challenge that each computer presents. To try
to help the customer understand the issue and what caused
it is a challenge as well, but I enjoy it. If I didn't
love computers as much as I do, I wouldn't be able to
work on them all day and then go home to play on mine."
Murf is an avid Unreal Tournament 2004 and Quake 4 gamer
and looks forward to the long-awaited release of Unreal
Tournament 3.
TCL
is dedicated to helping you with whatever issue you
might have with your computer. As technology increases
with importance exponentially, Computer Link is right
there ready to help you. |
